the art of yoga
You’re artistic side wants to shine.
You know those moments where you get creatively stuck?
I feel this sometimes. I want to write a song but no matter how hard I strum, it won’t happen. I want to dance to a song, but I feel disconnected from the movement. I want to write a poem, but every word I hear makes my ears bleed. I want to teach an amazing yoga practice, but I can’t seem to find my authentic voice.
There’s a practice that helps this every time.
The practice and invitations I am going to share with you will help you awaken your creative nature through the power of intentional and embodied yoga (the real kind of yoga). Doing this practice when there is creative stagnation invokes movement of our artistic sides to shine.
What is “real” yoga?
Simple. It’s yoga that brings us love for ourselves and all. It’s yoga that brings us unity with ourselves and all. It’s yoga that makes space for creativity to shine through.
to practice the art of yoga is to realize the art of you.
There are three elements of this practice
Movement: When our body expresses itself through organic movement, we become aware of the voices of sensations. These voices can sometimes be the conceivers of the most prolific works of art.
Sound: When we allow our voice to run free, our self-judgement begins to do the same.
Yoga Philosophy: When this knowledge is integrated, we cultivate self-awareness and self-love, release self-sabotage, and let go of negative self-talk. This conjures the courage to create.
Artistic expression is just about sharing what feels present and important to us, in a way that feels fulfilling and freeing. Practicing the art of yoga is like opening the closed doors to the rooms your creative ideas have been hiding.
It’s a free gift, you may as well try it out if you’ve made it this far.
“Everything is magical when you see it with your heart.”
